My Graduation Day – YCCE, Nagpur (14 March 2026)

14 March 2026 is a date I don’t think I’ll ever forget. It was my graduation day at YCCE, Nagpur, but more than that, it felt like the closing of one of the most important chapters of my life.

When I first entered the campus years ago, I was just another student, unsure, a little nervous, and full of expectations. I didn’t know then that this place would give me not just an engineering degree, but memories, friendships, and experiences that would stay with me forever.

Graduation day felt different from the moment I stepped into the campus. Everything looked the same, the buildings, the corridors, the classrooms, but somehow everything felt different. Maybe it was because I knew I was seeing it all as a student for the last time.

Wearing the graduation robe felt surreal. It wasn’t just a piece of cloth, it carried the weight of assignments, exams, sleepless nights, project deadlines, and all the small wins that no one else saw. As I looked around, I saw familiar faces, my friends, people who had been part of my everyday life for years. And suddenly, it hit me, this was the last time we would all be together like this.

We laughed like we always did, clicked countless photos, and tried to act normal, but deep down everyone knew this moment was special. These were the same friends who stayed with me during tough exams, helped me complete last minute submissions, shared notes, and made even the most stressful days feel lighter. They weren’t just classmates anymore, they had become a part of my life.

During the ceremony, when my name was called and I walked up to receive my degree, I felt a mix of pride and gratitude. In that moment, I thought about everything, the struggles, the pressure, the doubts, and also the growth, the learning, and the journey that shaped me into who I am today. I thought about my family, who supported me silently through all these years.

But what I’ll remember the most isn’t just the degree, it’s the little moments. Sitting in the canteen for hours, random conversations that had no meaning but meant everything, group studies that turned into jokes, and those walks around campus when we talked about life, dreams, and the future.

As the ceremony came to an end and we threw our caps in the air, it felt like a mix of happiness and sadness. Happy because we made it. Sad because this chapter was ending.

We all said, let’s stay in touch, knowing life might take us in different directions. But I truly believe that some friendships don’t fade, they just grow with time.

Today, I leave YCCE not just with a degree, but with a heart full of memories and people I’ll never forget. This place gave me more than an education, it gave me a journey.

And no matter where life takes me next, a part of me will always belong to those years, those classrooms, and those friendships.

This wasn’t just graduation.

This was a goodbye to a beautiful phase of life, and the beginning of everything ahead.
